The Wallace's

Today we closed on the Wallace's new home. Sometimes things in life are just meant to be, and this was one of those instances. About a month ago, I got a call from the Wallace's requesting to see a new listing in the country that they had been eyeing for a few years now. The home was a cute little rustic home on 4 acres.

We scheduled a showing and they loved it. The home needed a little updating but they were excited for the challenge. The evening that we looked at it, they decided to write an offer on it. The only problem was, they still had a house to sell. This situation is always tricky! You may fall in love with a house but there's always a chance yours will take a few months to sell and by the time it does, the house of your dreams may have sold to someone else. Well, this was not the case with them. The evening after we wrote an offer I went to the Wallace's current home and listed it.

We got the house on the market and not even 24 hours later we received a cash offer. I was sitting on a boat in the middle of a lake when the offer came in so I made a quick dash back to Columbia City to present the offer and the Wallace's accepted it. Meaning we were in the clear to proceed with purchasing their new home. (Yay!) It doesn't get much better than that :)

Last week we were able to close on the Wallace's home they were selling, and today we closed on their new home. It was a whirlwind of a month for this family and I'm so excited things worked out so smoothly for them. Congratulations to Ian, Elizabeth, and their twin girls on this exciting new adventure!
